Kniha představuje modernistickou a brutalistickou architekturu roztroušenou po městech Moskva, (východní) Berlín, Varšava, Budapešť, Kyjev a Petrohrad a obsahuje více než 100 fotografií, které Zupagrafika pořídila v průběhu posledního desetiletí jako referenční archiv pro své ilustrované sady a knihy, se zvláštními příspěvky místních fotografů. Kniha Eastern Blocks je rozdělena do 6 kapitol a obsahuje předmluvu spisovatele a novináře Christophera Beanlanda, informativní mapy, rejstřík architektů a informativní texty o představovaných městech a stavbách.
