Near Prague's Olšan Cemetery, behind the wall of office buildings, a small park hides. It's actually just a fenced garden, quite possibly the smallest park in Prague. In 2021, a sign with the inscription Milena Jesenská Park was added. It is significant that this piece of urban greenery remains the only place that bears the name of the most important Czech journalist. In one of the houses in the adjacent street, Jesenská was arrested by the Gestapo and thus set out on a journey that ended in the Ravensbrück concentration camp. On the seventeenth of May it will be eighty years since her death.
