Wear We Are je nezávislý časopis o stavu udržitelnosti v oblasti módy.

Časopis, který se zrodil v italské Florencii, byl vytvořen týmem 21 studentů módy a recenzován desítkou odborníků z oboru působících v oblasti udržitelnosti v módě. Naše první číslo se zabývá některými systémy, které v módě fungují a které podporují i brzdí udržitelný rozvoj. Jedním z našich hlavních cílů je položit si otázku, jak je udržitelnost v současné době integrována do módního průmyslu. Chceme prozkoumat nedostatečně zastoupené perspektivy a usilujeme o nový pohled na problémy, kterým módní a textilní průmysl čelí. Doufáme, že tak nabídneme diferencovanější diskusi, než jakou vedou populární média, a že se nám podaří demokratizovat informace o udržitelnosti pro širokou veřejnost a (začínající) odborníky.

Wear We Are is an independent journal on the state of sustainability in fashion.

The journal – born in Florence, Italy – has been produced by a team of 21 fashion students and reviewed by a dozen industry experts active in the sustainability sector of fashion. Our first issue looks at some of the systems in place in the fashion that encourage and inhibit sustainable development. One of our main aims is to question how sustainability is currently integrated in the fashion industry. We want to explore underrepresented perspectives and aim to give a fresh take on the issues that the fashion and textile industries face. In doing so, we hope to offer a more nuanced discussion than popular media does and democratize sustainability information to the general public and (aspiring) professionals.
